Hey, i was prompted to post the computer specs i was going to be buying soon on here, hopefully to save me from doing something bad.
I thought that this was pretty good and reasonable. What do you guys think - Heres the link:
http://www.eclipsecomputers.com/systems.aspx?sysid=192580.
Tell me if you cannot view the contents of that link - I'll try and get a list for you.
Also Blitz if you could let us know if you'd be using the machine for things like Photoshop more than gaming, or if it just for gaming that would help.
I know you're thinking SLI, but at the moment if you really want to buy two graphic cards you should get a couple of ATI's, maybe the 5850's
Although if you have enough money to buy to Graphic cards you'd be better of buying on ATI HD 5970 OC.
CPU wise, you shoudl still be looking only at Intels as AMD's just don't cut the mustard. Something like a i7-930 is great CPU or if your loaded a i7-980X is the best.
Ramm must be DDR3 and a motherboard obviously to support that and the chip you get, but we discuss that in more detail when you put your spec up.

Well maybe not get the I7 - I do have an good case, but it's cracked so i am in need of another one, the DVD Drive is alright - Still works, and the power unit is ok, but pretty old, it was used for when i re-made the system i've got so i prefer to replace incase it fucks up new motherboard or something
So a whole revamp, doesn't matter about I7, can be older processor - Just a good PC so i can use throughout the next year or so for gaming.
