Mobile access to forums

Hi all

Not sure if this is the place for this but anyone know why I can't access the splat forums on my mobile when not using WiFi. It comes up with a page saying my IP address is not allowed. Now this does make sense bearing in mind the fact that when using mobile internet it does not register as having an IP address and I can still access on my mobile when at home and connected by WiFi BUT.......

It only started doing this 2 days ago and has never been a problem before. It's not a major issue, I'm just curious if anyone knows why this has occurred all of a sudden.

Either the specific IP, or block of IPs used by your mobile provider have been banned from accessing our website for some reason.

If you have your IP send it me via PM and il have look see if its blocked.

that will be it... Your "mobile IP" will be very different from your home DSL IP. Send the IP to one of our website admins and they can check out whats up Smile

I still have issues with my work IP being blocked too.

It could be a range of addresses.

Thanks for trying Vin, it won't cause me too many problems as it just stops me checking the forums when I should be doing something else at work!

Still it's a bit odd it's happened all of a sudden and was fine before?

It'll be almost certainly due to Nuke Sentinel not allowing access from IPs that don't use HTTP referrals. It's an anti hacking measure. I can access the forums with my phone (3 Network) so it's probably down to your mobile network/phone.
